Open Meeting Monday 4th March 2pm is still going ahead!
You may have heard about the collapse of a cob wall on a building on the corner of Fore Street and Church Lane in Lostwithiel which has resulted in some local road closures and diversions
Although it is not currently possible to access Church Lane from the Fore Street end, the Church Rooms remain open and are accessible for pedestrians from South Street.
Therefore, this is just to let you know that next Monday’s Open Meeting - where our guest speaker is Sue Newton from the National Garden Scheme - will be going ahead as planned, starting at 2pm.
If you don't already know, the level crossing on Grenville Road will be closed to vehicles (but not to pedestrians) from 10pm on Sunday 3rd March until 12pm on Monday 11th March while Network Rail carry out the signalling upgrade to the main line.
