Visits to 2 Gardens in St Columb

1.      Rose Morran (guided visit by arrangement)

Lower Tregamere (Opend Day for NGS)

Rose Morran

Colour, shape and texture define this North Cornwall Garden. The property and gardens extend to about an acre, with grassland, wild areas and Cornish hedges completing the 2-acre plot.

Planted over the past 11 years, there is a mix of shrubs and trees interplanted with perennials to ensure year-round display.

Vegetable beds and a polytunnel with tender plants make this a rounded garden visit.

Lower Tregamere

An evolving 2½ acre Cornish garden. Bisected by a river, where English formal style juxtaposes with woodland and oriental styles.

Walk through tall redwoods and past magnificent old oaks to take in many unusual trees and shrubs.

Catch the cherry blossoms in late spring, the colourful acers or the autumnal display of the Katsuras.

Experience the air of tranquillity the garden evokes.

Meet up in LCC car park for car sharing leaving at 11.45am

Arrive at Rose Morran for 12.30pm
