10-acre garden with a romantic ruin as its centre. Run by Fortescue Garden Trust. Visit to see the snowdrops. The garden has been extended to include a meadow, a grove of acres and many other trees

Caerhayes

Spectacular Magnolias, Camellias and Rhododendrons. Structured walks arounds the garden giving views over the estate and grounds, the lake and out to sea.

Some paths quite steep.

Spring garden open 13 Feb to 11 June

Magnolia Tea Room serves light lunches, cakes, tea and coffee.

Beach café open daily, weather permitting.

Car parking £7 all day/refund at garden entrance.

Car parking booked online does not require ticket.

Private garden near St Veep

Pat Bucknall and her daughter Jo have an exclusive collection of camelias, magnolias and rhododendrons. They exhibit at CGS and RHS and win many prizes, often beating exhibitors from well-known large gardens.

 

£6 including tea/coffee and cake.

The gardens at Enys offer a unique, tranquil and unspoilt experience, presenting a variety of peaceful garden vistas, It features a number of distinct but linked areas, each with its own individual character, flowing from one theme to another. Within the 30-acre gardens lie the open meadow known as Parc Lye where the spring show of bluebells is breath-taking

Season runs from 1 April to 30 September

Sundays and Mondays 10am to 5pm plus school holidays

Thursday 21st September

Trenarth Gardens,

 

Constantine

4 Acre Garden with emphasis on unusual plants, set around a 17th century farmhouse. Abundant wildlife with water and bog features. There is a plethora of common seasonal wildflowers merging the borders of the garden with the surrounding countryside.  A circular walk leads from the garden to Trenarth Bridge on one of the creeks of the Helford River.

 

 

 

In 2022 the garden was open in June for the NGS and Sept Cornwall wildlife Trust.

Also open by prior appointment in aid of the NGS or Cornwall hospice Care.

 

Entrance £5 per person. Dogs on leads welcome.

Normally some plants for sale

Tea and refreshments available

Tours can be arranged for group bookings.
