This was a re scheduled trip from the originally planned 8th march which was cancelled due to bad weather. Again the weather was drizzly and overcast and only 4 of us turned up but the afternoon was no disappointment with 25 bird species seen and plenty of toad spawn in the water channels either side of the trail. 

Too dank and poor light for photography but some of the highlights were  25 Redshank, 4 Greenshank, 2  Shelduck, 4 Wigeon, some 94 Oyster Catchers roosting, 87 Black tailed Godwit with 11 Bar tailed Godwit on the sandbanks, Snipe, Curlew, Grey Heron, Little Egrets, Teal and 3 Turnstone.
